The College was established in 1975 as a tuition centre. Gradually it became very popular among the students and parents. U.G and P.G courses in different subjects started within a few years.

English Association Inaguration

A collective effort to develop leadership qualities and assumes responsibility for themselves and others. It is a nurturing place for high achievement and creativity. The English association was inaugurated by Dr. Ifthikar. The inaugural function was presided over by M V Purushothaman (Principal National College)

Distribution of Tally certificates

On 14th June 2019, a function was conducted in connection with the distribution of certificates to all students who successfully completed the Tally Education course. Mr.Jijikumar, regional manager, Tally education, Bangalore was the Chief Guest. The principle, Mr. M. V. Purushothaman distributed the certificates to all students.

The 43rd college day

The 43rd college day was celebrated on 12th January 2019 at the Luxottica International Convection Center Mangad. The function was inaugurated by film actress Mrs. Ala and the keynote address was delivered by well – known novelist Dr. Jinesh Kumar Eramam, M.A, Ph.D. The Principal Purushothaman presided over the and Dr. Jose.M.V Associate Prof. NAM College Kallikandy felicitated.
